Maybe, but I can’t think of any good reason why they would.
Barring any insane stock shortages, I think we’ll see a global launch — maybe staggered like new iPhone rollouts, but yeah, definitely a global rollout.
How many Apple products or services have launched in the US in the past couple of years? Apple Pay is the only one that comes to mind, and that was because the US had an ass-backwards payments system as it was.

iTunes Radio is still only available in the US and AUS i believe.
I think they will do a global launch i am just afraid i will have to pay a lot of money to get one from the US if its a US only launch.
I can pretty guarantee they will launch it in Australia on day 1. They would be wanting to get as much exposure on it as possible, and trying to get those launch sales numbers. It’s true that the original iPhone was US only at launch, but Apple have come a long way since then and are on a much larger scale than they used to be
