All good. No complaint here.

For what it’s worth, I love my Retina MacBook Pro. I can’t upgrade a damn thing but it’s still a nice machine. Repairability is more my concern, and the inability to replace the battery definitely concerned me in that regard.

This machine owes me nothing though. I repaired the board and saved the machine from scrap at no cost, and having recently discovered that the battery can in fact be replaced independently of the case with creative removal methods well within my abilities, I’m not concerned about it anymore. Instead I can take this computer for the fine little workhorse machine it is.
