But they have opened it up to developers? I’m not sure I understand what’s misleading about that? Did they ever say they would let Siri control everything?

But if you embed the 3 laws of robotics by Asimov you should be ok. Plus who’s to say we are not already in the Matrix. So if AI in the matrix becomes sentient, we get a Matrix-ception.
