I just tried to go to Appletalk at work, and it’s coming up as phishing/spam. I’m wondering if the site may have accidentally been added to some blacklist somewhere or if somehow it may actually have become infected with some spammy code or something. I’m typing this thread on my ipad (no problems there).
Who’s the manufacturer of the filtering list? The error page should tell you.
I think it’s probably just bad filtering by your work.
My work blocks Appshopper.com (which highlights discount Mac, iPhone and iPad apps) as a phishing/spam site. AppleTalk is fine though.
Its our internal firewall. I’ve raised it internally so will be interesting to see what they come back with. I assume it’s based on some commercially available black/whitelist but I have no idea which one and it doesn’t say on the error message we get.
