Buying Raspberry Pi in Australia?

Hi folks, I’m guessing a few of you have bought them, I’m wondering where is the best place to buy a Raspberry Pi in Australia, or should I get it overseas? Just want one to play with and maybe install Retropie for Retro Gaming, and other various Emulators. While you’re at it, let everyone know what cool stuff you’ve done with a Raspberry Pi

I think element14 are the go-to for Pi in Australia.

Cool. Thats the one that come up most in the searches but figured was worth asking. I’m ordering the board only of the latest Model B, I’ve got all the other stuff I’d need to get it up and running coming out of my ears

Personally I’d get one through EBay as it is likely to be substantially cheaper.

We have 3 Pi’s in our house running RasPlex for media streaming from Linux based Plex server. A much nicer interface than the Apple TV and media does not need to be converted and added to iTunes. Just ensure that it is named using the appropriate naming convention and it will be auto tagged.

These guys specialise, including training, https://littlebirdelectronics.com.au/ . They have been pretty good in the past.

I bought a Teensy2 from them to hack a Chromecast - was happy with their service, painless.
