Good spending tracking app

Hi all, anyone have suggestions for an app to track spending? My partner is an academic and travels quite a bit. Forever having to enter expenses after a trip in a word doc. Aside from losing receipts, there is also the inevitable forgetting of what recepit related to which place.
I saw ‘wally’ is well recommended, any other suggestions.

If this is for expense claims at work you could look at Expensify. Makes it pretty easy.

Yeah, for tracking work travel expenses and rented house expenses. Basically this later claimed for tax.
Oh, and the less personal info surrended the better.
Just reading about fudget.
Would rather pay for the app than get a ‘free’ one that harvest my data.
