Curious to know - does the Airport Express still even show up as a device for AirPlay purposes on iOS 11.4?
I can’t find anything online to suggest it will or wont and I’ve got a heap of the devices at home!
Yep, mine does. I have one of the older ones, not the flat Apple TV like ones.
Yes, iOS 11.4 will be backwards compatible. But you won’t get multi-zone to AirPlay 1 speakers.
I’ve since updated and yeah, not worried about multi-zone to these devices - as long as they just work!
When I’m doing multi-zone, I’m normally broadcasting from a computer.
