iPhone 5S - Opinions?

I say this all the time, people disagree though. I do use my iPhone camera A HEAP, but also my Canon 550D and G16 for family events, major friend events and really anything I want to keep as as good as smartphone cameras are they don’t look great. Its interesting how for years camera quality went up and now its gone right backwards (although arguably digital cameras weren’t amazing when they were first popular either). My friends (I’m 20) seem to do all their photography on snapchat, so all memories from this time period in many years will just be screenshots from now… and while I get made fun of for my bulky G16, I’ll have nice photos

There’s nothing wrong with the G16, its a good camera. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I use my phone camera a bit, but not as much as I expected to, because I have way too many “proper” cameras. Nonetheless, a phone camera is useful if you don’t have your regular cam with you.

I love my G16 - Takes beautiful photos, for a compact camera its very nice. I’ve got no problems with it, its just others seem to think its overkill haha

Yeah, I get that too, I always have one or two cameras with me, my friends seem to think I’m nuts. Even the ones who enjoy photography

We just went on holiday and Mrs entropy and I rea,used when we got here we forgot to pack our dedicated camera. Truth is we use our iPhones for snaps, and on holidays the panorama is a great and easy to use feature.

I might be tempted for a 5S for Miss entropy if I can find one cheap enough.

There’s quite a few over at OCAU - should be able to get one for around $200 or less I think.
