This thread title is finally accurate.

The 2012 MacBook Pro, like the Macintosh Plus is no longer on sale.

The second hand market will continue to provide :). I still like my upgraded 2010 white macbook except for the lack of SD card reader. I may at some time in the future buy a newer model macbook, when what I have no longer serves its purpose. I havent yet upgraded to Sierra, just not sure enough that it will be OK. My mac Mini will also serve for a lot longer (its the mid 2012 model) and I still have not yet replaced its slow old drive with an SSD. Its fine.

I’m not that concerned at the old MBP being dropped, its hardly surprising, it hung on for a lot longer than anyone thought it would so it had a bloody good run. I imagine it will still turn up on the refurb store from time to time, but if not, like I said, the second hand market will provide

I’m not surprised, just sad that Apple couldn’t have spec bumped it.

Would still be on Apple refurb store for a while wouldn’t it?
