It’s been a while since I’ve seen anything about doing this however there’s a movie on the US iTunes store that I just can’t get anywhere else.
What’s the current method for using a US iTunes account in Australia? Gift cards off eBay? Are there any geo-blocking restrictions?
iTunes tighten this up a few years ago so you actually can’t register without a US credit card and address. Not sure about geolocation as well but I know family and friends who tried and gave up. People who got it when you could have been grandfathered.
I managed to create a US Apple ID ok just now, selecting a free app gives the payment method of none.
Beyond that is it just a matter of getting US iTunes credit?
