For starters… I was just this moment thinking to myself - I should read “A Perfect Day for Bananafish” again… probably one of my favourite JD Salinger books… (Of course, that always makes me think - meh, maybe his works really are over-rated and cliched… Meh.) And then I thought… I wonder if I can get it on iBooks… for free… I wonder what Salinger thinks of this modern digital distribution age… Hang on… Is he even ALIVE?
And the answer is, no, Jerome David Salinger died in 2010, and I missed it!
