After I had made a few minor adjustments to the energy saver settings I find that my MacBook Air, High Sierra, now logs me out when the ‘Turn Display Off’ setting reached. I can’t find the setting to stop the logging out from occurring. Previously the screen would have just gone black and required the password to bring it back to life. It never used to do this, and I am at a loss to find why. Any help?
OK, I found it. I had set ‘Log Out After x Minutes of Inactivity’ in ‘Privacy and Security’. I don’t know why I set that, but it is now back to normal.
