Can we get the hamburger expanded?

I’ve noticed after the 2nd incarnation of the front page that to get to the forums from the home page I have to expand the menu by clicking the menu icon which then takes longer than it should to expand the links to get to the forum.

Can we get it back the way it was with this expanded by default?
