The new “Green Hydrogen” plant that I was recently reading about - is also going to be used to extract water from the atmosphere.
First one in AU going to be built in Tennant Creek, of all places.
Will it cause damage to the environment? Pose a threat to humans? We don’t know yet, say the experts; though a full report is apparently due to be released soon…
I can’t help but think - if you’re going to start taking elements out of the atmosphere, you’re going to cause an imbalance somewhere… and maybe this one plant in TC wont be a problem… but - will be we looking back a this moment in 30 years wishing we hadn’t taken this step?
