Setting up Alternative Appearance

As I’m trying to do the right thing in wearing masks on public transport, tried to set up an mask-wearing alternative appearance for Face ID.

Nope, Apple helpfully won’t let me stating “face obstructed, try remove anything covering the face”…

Seriously Apple.

Anyone able to set up a mask wearing Face ID?

My understanding is that its not possible. You’ll need to use your code.

Maybe give this way a go?

Thanks, gave that that option a go. The setup function fights you in trying to set it up that way, and then it doesn’t work. Tried twice, nice idea, but I couldn’t get it to work.
