iOS 11 - Airplay icon missing in Videos

Anyone worked out how to airplay from videos? The icon seems to be missing and the airplay in the control center seems to be for mirroring so if you minimise the videos app, it stops streaming.

Isn’t that an AirPlay icon in the top right though? Surely it’s a bug/oversight if it’s not there on the main screen. No way that process is the ‘ordained way’ going forward. File feedback/radar? :slight_smile:

That only appears (in Amazon Video) once you’re already AirPlaying. Same behaviour on iOS 10, as I recall.

It isn’t intuitive, that’s for sure. Try to explain it to a 76 yo.
