Welp. I think it is confirmed. Going back down to to simplest set up of components, including dropping down to the GT 710, I can get about a couple of minutes in, and then it crashes. It has been going like this for the last couple of weeks, and it mirrors determinations from others to as recently as 4 months ago. It’s something on the logic board, and it is toast.
I’m not going to spend any more money on this Mac Pro. Sad days. I’m honestly not sure what to do with it.
It was my main editing machine with my adobe stuff and I wasn’t yet prepared to transition off of it.
Sad news!
