New iPhone 7 iOS11 Contacts app has disappeared!

Hi everyone. I wonder if anyone can help me. My partner has just bought a new iPhone 7 with iOS11. The Contacts app is nowhere to be seen! All her contacts are on the phone and are available via the Phone app, messages app etc. I thought it would be an easy fix by going to the App store and downloading it. But in the app store it just has an Open button rather than a Download one which points to it actually being installed on the phone. The app can be opened by Siri also. Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

I think Contacts is now found under the Utilities folder (or whatever it’s called). Looked there?

It’s one of the default apps that Apple lets you uninstall from the home screen now in iOS 11. Just go to the App Store and download Contacts again. It’ll put the shortcut back on the home screen.

Thanks guys. All sorted now…
