Dual SIM vs. 2 eSIMSs in iPhone 12

Hi all

so I have a physical SIM in my phone which is my main personal number and I recently bought a Telstra prepaid eSIM and set it up as my business number which is all working fine.

But my question is if I wanted to move my personal number over to an eSIM according to what I’ve read online my iPhone 12 Pro can’t support Dual eSIMs - is this correct? It can however support multiple eSIMs but I guess you would have to turn each service on or off to swap between them, is this correct or have I misread this?

Going off memory here but with the 12 you can have one esim and one physical sim active at the same time. 13 and above can have multiple esim active or one esim and one physical sim.
