G’day,
The other day my wife mentioned “all the problems” with the new iPhone that she was hearing about on social media.
Can’t say I’d even looked to see what the new phone offered…
Then on the news was a story about them overheating, with Apple blaming some “popular apps” for causing the problem, but that software patches would fix it.
My response to this, sadly, was to smile.
I shouldn’t be happy about bad things happening to the company I’ve been mostly faithful to for over 3 decades…
I guess Apple is well and truly no longer the underdog of anything… no longer needing grass roots support from the geeks who weren’t geeky enough for DOS…
