Remove Crashing App

I installed the My Telstra app on my wife’s iPhone 6s running iOS 12.1.4. The app crashes immediately on launching. So I want to delete it and try a re-install. The only problem is I cannot delete the app because it immediately crashes when I attempt to tap and hold. So how do I delete the app?
