Value For Money Monitor Suitable For Colour Photographic Work

Hi Everyone.

As the topic says, I’m getting back into photography and require a new monitor, probably around 24 - 27 inches. Just after suggestions for a value for money one that would suit.

It will largely depend on your actual budget. I went with a Dell Ultrasharp years ago, and have no regrets about having done so.

I remember the Dell monitors used to get good reviews. I’ll have a look. Probably looking to spend between $500 - $1,000 at this stage.

Is this a hobby or is it for work (colour critical workflows)?

Well it’s mostly a hobby at the moment. I do have a monitor calibrator. I am using an old ViewSonic 20" at the moment (a good quality one) and the prints I’m getting are spot on.
