Windows iCloud software

hi folks

just a general question about iCloud software for Windows. I bought a Windows laptop a few weeks ago for my training business and I’d like to sync it with iCloud Drive so I can write docs on both my Mac and PC and I guess use email/etc.

So should I download and install the iCloud software from the Microsoft Store (it is available there) or download direct from Apple? Should I use this utility to set up iCloud email? Do any of you have thoughts about Windows email apps, ie Outlook vs. Windows Mail/etc?

I only use iCloud on Windows to sync browser bookmarks and passwords.
I grabbed it from the Windows App store. I don’t think it will matter where you get it from.

As for email apps, whatever you prefer. As I have used Outlook for work for years, I would just stick with that. No idea what Windows Mail is like to use.
